When you deploy Code Culture apparel to your wardrobe, we're committed to making sure everything runs without bugs! Like well-tested code, our products are designed for quality and satisfaction.

IMPORTANT: Since our products are custom-compiled just for you (printed on-demand when ordered), our return policy works differently than mass-produced apparel. Please read our policy carefully. it's like checking the documentation before implementing a new library.


🐛 HANDLING DEFECTS & BUGS

If Your Item Arrives With Defects

Just like we'd want someone to report a bug in our code, we want to know if something's wrong with your order! If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  1. Document the bug: Take clear photos/videos of the issue
  2. Submit a ticket: Email us at hello@codeculture.store within 30 days of delivery
  3. Include your debug info: Your order number and detailed description of the problem
  4. Wait for our response: We'll reply faster than a compiled language runs!

OUR FIX: For any manufacturing defects or shipping damage, we'll arrange a reprint of your item at no cost. consider it our version of a hotfix!


🔄 RETURN PROTOCOL FOR OTHER REASONS

Size Issues & Other Concerns

Since each item is custom-printed when you order (like code compiled specifically for your project), we do not accept returns for buyer's remorse, wrong size selection, or similar reasons.

PRO TIP: To avoid size compatibility issues, carefully review our sizing charts before ordering. Not sure which size to select? Email us at hello@codeculture.store and our support team will help you find the perfect fit!

Non-Returnable Items (By Design)

The following cannot be returned unless they arrive with a legitimate defect:

  • Custom/personalized items
  • Sale items (already discounted)
  • Gift cards (they're like API keys. once issued, they're active)

🚫 IMPORTANT: DO NOT PUSH TO PRODUCTION WITHOUT APPROVAL

Never return any items without contacting us first! Items returned without prior approval may not be processed. similar to code pushed without a proper code review.

After contacting us, we'll provide specific return instructions if your case qualifies for a reprint. Unauthorized returns may result in rejection of your request.


🇪🇺 EUROPEAN UNION EXCEPTION HANDLER

All products sold by Code Culture are made-to-order and manufactured specifically to your chosen specifications (size, design, and customization preferences). Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly made-to-order. Therefore, we cannot accept returns based solely on change of mind or the EU cooling-off period.

However, your statutory rights remain fully protected. if your item arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@codeculture.store and we will resolve the issue in accordance with EU conformity of goods regulations. We stand behind the quality of our products and will work with you to ensure your satisfaction.

Due to our on-demand production model, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style:

  1. Submit a new order for the desired item
  2. If your original order qualifies for a return, we'll process accordingly

EU CONSUMERS . ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ODR)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform that you can access here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and do not undertake to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

EU CONSUMERS . RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY COOLING-OFF) AND MODEL WITHDRAWAL FORM

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, in line with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. Note: products that are personalised or made to your specifications (including print-on-demand items printed for your order) are exempt from this right under Article 16(c) of the Directive. For non-personalised items, the right of withdrawal applies as set out below.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Code Culture, eenmanszaak in Utrecht NL, KvK 97936200, VAT NL005296549B36, email hello@codeculture.store) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earliest. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
