// why this exists

I got tired of dressing like I raided a lost-and-found.

I'm Emcy — a data professional who builds pipelines by day and designs shirts at night. Code Culture started because I was tired of wearing the same rotation of conference tees and Amazon impulse buys that cracked, shrank, or embarrassed me on Zoom calls.

My partner walked by a Zoom call and said
"Do you own any real clothes?"

— The origin story.

She wasn't wrong. So I went looking. Every option was either clip-art on cardboard-quality cotton, Redbubble mockups that looked nothing like the real product, or brands with 500 designs and maybe 10 you'd actually wear.

I thought: what if I just made the shirts I wanted to wear? Premium blanks. Humor written by someone who actually understands CI/CD and the pain of debugging on a Friday afternoon. Six colorways because not everything needs to be black.

That's Code Culture. No VC funding. No 50-person team. Just one person who cares about cotton weight and has an unhealthy knowledge of print methods.

// straight answers

Straight answers.

Why does it cost more than Amazon?

Ring-spun vs. basic cotton. DTG ink-in-fiber vs. heat transfer on top. You'll replace an Amazon shirt twice before this one shows any wear. Better math.

How does the fit run?

True to size with a modern silhouette — not boxy, not spray-painted-on. Full measurements on the product page. If the fit isn't right, we'll sort it.

Will the print crack?

DTG embeds ink into the fiber. It moves with the shirt. Wash cold, tumble low — 100+ washes before any fade. That's the difference from screen print.

Where can I find return information?

Read the current refund policy before ordering. For an order issue, contact support with your order details.
