Code Culture respects intellectual property rights, both our own and those of others, and we expect everyone who uses our store to do the same. This policy explains who owns the material you see on our site, how we handle claims that content infringes someone's rights, and the steps you can take if you believe your work has been used without permission. Although we are based in the Netherlands, we follow a notice-and-takedown process modelled on the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act so that rights holders anywhere can reach us easily.

Our Intellectual Property

The Code Culture name, logo, original designs, artwork, product photography, written copy, and the overall look and feel of our store are owned by Code Culture or used by us under licence, and they are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may browse and enjoy this material for your own personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, sell, or create derivative products from our designs or branding without our written permission. Buying one of our products gives you ownership of that physical item, not any rights in the design printed on it.

Respecting the Rights of Others

We create our designs to be original and we do not knowingly sell products that infringe the intellectual property of any third party. If you believe that something offered in our store copies your protected work or misuses your trademark, we want to hear from you so we can review it promptly and act where a claim is valid.

Submitting an Infringement Notice

If you are a rights holder, or are authorised to act for one, and you believe material in our store infringes your copyright or trademark, please send a written notice to hello@codeculture.store. For us to act quickly, your notice should identify the work or mark you say has been infringed, point us to the specific product or page on our store that you are complaining about so we can locate it, and give us your name and contact details. It should also include a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law, a statement that the information you have provided is accurate, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or are permitted to act on their behalf, together with your physical or electronic signature. Notices that leave out this information may delay our review while we ask you for the missing details.

How We Respond

When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, where the claim appears valid, we remove or disable access to the material in question and, where appropriate, notify the person who supplied it. We may also take further action, such as declining future listings that raise the same concern. We aim to handle every properly submitted notice fairly and without unnecessary delay.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use the material, you may send a counter-notice to hello@codeculture.store. Your counter-notice should identify the material that was removed and where it previously appeared, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, and provide your name, contact details, and your physical or electronic signature. We will review a counter-notice on the same fair basis, and where suitable we may restore the material.

Repeat Infringers

We take repeated infringement seriously. Where someone submits content that repeatedly infringes the rights of others, we reserve the right to refuse them further use of our services in appropriate cases.

Good-Faith Claims

Please make claims responsibly. Submitting a knowingly false notice or counter-notice can carry legal consequences for the person who makes it, and it wastes time that we would rather spend resolving genuine concerns.
